Eating a healthier diet appears to come at a price - especially for those who would like to eat more fish. According to a Nielsen 52 country global survey on fish consumption, half of all consumers from every region of the world say that they would eat more fish if cost was not an issue. In fact, in Latin America, almost two-thirds (63%) of consumers would eat more - or much more - fish if the price was lower. Just under half of all North Americans (46%) say they would eat more fish, with Asia Pacific consumers close behind at 48%. Fifty-two percent of Emerging Market consumers and 51% of Europeans would eat more fish.
