The Financial Leadership Program (FLP) provides you with an exciting opportunity to apply your knowledge of corporate finance within the fast-paced media and marketing information industries. This is a two-year rotational program in which emerging leaders will gain exposure to financial planning and analysis, investment decision-making, controllership, risk management and valuation, and treasury operations on both the corporate and business unit level.
Rotation Overview
Rotation assignments provide challenging and well-rounded experiences within a variety of finance disciplines. The FLP provides unique exposure both to Nielsen global businesses and to its senior operating leaders. The programs structure combines challenging coursework on financial topics with hands-on and meaningful, practical work experience. Candidate Criteria
- Graduation within the last two years with a B.A. degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
- Strong record of academic achievement
- Leadership role in college extra-curricular activities
- Capacity and motivation for hard work
- Superior analytical and quantitative skills
- Strong interpersonal, written and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Strong PC skills
- Strong desire to enter and develop within the marketing information and media industries
- Enthusiasm and flexibility to pursue a challenging career in various locations; willingness and ability to travel extensively
- Open to a multi-year career with Nielsen after completion of program
- Willingness to relocate upon completion of program
- Permanent work authorization in the U.S.
