Ed Dandridge is Chief Communications Officer for The Nielsen Company. Ed is responsible for all global communications initiatives and oversees the company's external and internal communications functions worldwide, including corporate communications, employee communications, issues management and media relations.
Prior to Nielsen, Ed founded and managed BrandSphere Partners, a strategic consulting firm where he advised a diverse range of corporate, non-profit and political clients, both in the US and internationally.
Previously, Ed served as Vice President of Network Communications for ABC Television Network, where he was the network's senior communications executive. Prior to ABC, he spent nearly eight years at the Sawyer/Miller Group, an international political consulting firm where he managed public affairs initiatives, corporate re-positionings, and crisis campaigns for corporations, governments and mission-driven institutions. An attorney admitted to practice law, Ed began his career practicing law in New York City.
Ed earned his undergraduate degree from Tufts University, with honors, and is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Law.
